First meeting of the TSARA Initiative's External Advisory Committee (EAC)

On Friday December 6, 2024, the first meeting of TSARA's External Advisory Committee (EAC) will be held at the École Nationale d'Agriculture in Meknes, Morocco. This event will mark an important milestone for the initiative, mobilizing international experts and representatives of institutions committed to sustainable development to guide TSARA's strategic directions.

A key role in strengthening TSARA's impact:

EAC advises TSARA on strategies for research, innovation, training and impact. Its recommendations inform the initiative's decision-making and governance bodies, and promote synergies with other international initiatives. The committee is made up of 9 members selected for their recognized scientific expertise or their commitment to sustainable development. They represent geographical and disciplinary diversity.

A day structured around strategic exchanges:

• Morning: Introducing and setting up EAC
  After an official opening, members will go around the table to get to know each other. A detailed presentation of TSARA - vision, scientific agenda and action plan - will then be shared, followed by a discussion of the committee's role and mandate.
• Afternoon: Contributions from experts
  EAC members will share their analyses and recommendations on priority issues for TSARA, including scientific themes, strategic partnerships and prospects for the initiative's future development.

This meeting is a continuation of the inter-TFT seminar. The interactive format of the event, combined with the expertise of the participants, aims to strengthen the scientific governance and overall impact of the initiative.
